Minister of Education, Mathew Opoku Prempeh has revealed that, Senior High Schools (SHS) will go off the double-track system in September 2019.
He explained that, his Ministry will soon complete work on many Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund) projects which will accommodate more students.
Hon. Opoku Prempeh popularly known as Napo disclosed this in an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Tuesday.
The double-track system started in the 2018/19 academic year with the aim of addressing congestion in SHSs following the implementation of the Free SHS programme.
The system divides the entire student body and staff into two different tracks. So while one track is in school, the other is on vacation.

We are reliably informed that the arrest comes on the back of the Economic and Organized Crime Office(EOCO) securing a court order to go ahead with the freezing of all landed properties including Zylofon FM and vehicles, belonging to CEO of troubled gold firm Menzgold Ghana Limited.
In a statement signed by the Head of Public Affairs, Jacqueline Avotri, all employees of the affected company relatives and friends in possession of any of the said properties are to surrender them to the EOCO headquarters or its regional offices.
It further called on the general public to assist EOCO by giving out relevant information that will help retrieve all the vehicles and properties of Menzgold.
